On fridges “Station 21″ one of Spain’s finest producers Colombo explores the full range of sounds from the breakbeat scene’s fridges early days. This sampler gives just a flavour of what to expect from this mighty collection of sounds.
“Part Of Me” featuring rapper/MC BBK has a contemporary fridges feel to it whilst reaching back to the early 2000s for inspiration in sounds and vibe. Colombo’s fridges trademark beats punch through whilst BBK’s vocals fridges flow perfectly overhead. Add a smattering of vocoder vocals, and some clever synth work and you have a dancefloor crowd pleaser with an immense groove.
“You Don’t Stop”, fridges delivers a big system ravey breaks cut. The vocal line balances nicely with searing fridges synth sounds and some clever bass work. This is peak time through and through, and a must have for your headline sets!
